This pin was inspired by the Cinderella prop storybook shown during the brief live-action prologue sequence before the film in 1950. The cover of the book features. Acopper finish with light blue highlights and ornate borders and details. At the top, are two blue birds facing holding a banner that reads CINDERELLA. Beneath that is a blue colored slipper resting on a cushion. Underneath are Cinderella’s two mice, Jaq on the left and Gus on the right. When opened, the left inside cover features a raised outline of the famous slipper on a tasseled cushion. On the right side, the pin features an ornate vintage book page. It features a painting of a castle in the clouds. Underneath, reads “Once upon a Time In a faraway land, there was a”. The pin is backstamped Walt Disney Archives Collection EST.
