Framed Walt Disney Steam Locomotive Limited Edition Commemorative Pin Set 2003. I was the proud owner of two of the five hundred issued sets. This listing is for my second set. This is the, framed set, of five pins, that was released in 2003, by the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society, in conjunction with the return of the Roger E. Broggie locomotive, after extensive overhaul, to WDW. The full compliment of four locomotives is, once again, running around the Magic Kingdom. The frame measures 16″ wide by 15 1/2″ tall. The centerpiece, of the set, is a 3 3/4″ wide by 2″ tall, accurately detailed, pin of the Main Street Railroad Station at WDW. The background is a reproduction of an original watercolor of the Main Street Railroad Station at WDW. The set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is signed by: Michael Broggie; Michael Campbell; Mario Fiumani; Mike Lima and Sandy MacGowan, and contains a short Biography of each. The individual pins are #’s 27303, 27304, 27305, 27306 and 27308. It has been said that one of these sets is hanging in the lobby of the Vacation Club Villas at Wilderness Lodge. A boxcar and flat car, from Walt’s 1/8th scale backyard railroad, are also on display here. This was a limited edition release of 500.
