Original pin-back campaign button produced for Disney’s America, the proposed Disney theme park planned for Prince William County near Manassas, Virginia in the late 1980s. The project was publicly announced in 1989 and ultimately cancelled after local opposition and regulatory challenges, making promotional materials from this effort relatively uncommon. This button features the official “Disney’s America” logo with a patriotic eagle and flag motif. Obtained locally in Northern Virginia during the Disney’s America proposal period. 2.5-3 inches wide (estimate). Metal pin-back with safety pin. Very good vintage condition – NEVER WORN. Authentic period promotional item (not a modern reproduction). A unique piece of Disney history tied to one of the company’s most famous cancelled projects.

Up for Sale is a Lot of 28 pins from Disney’s Florida Project Event. Pins included are Limited Editions & Limited Releases. All were obtained by me, directly from Disney at the event. All pins are in the original condition and are carefully stored, so they are in the same condition as when obtained. All pins may have some slight blemish, dip or scratch as a result of the manufacturing process. Older pins may show signs of age, including discoloration of metal finish and some oxidation. These conditions are normal for all Disney pins. Pins have been maintained in a smoke-free environment. Pins that are not in original packaging or on original card are marked as used. Most are in exellent, like new condition, unless described above. Some pins come directly from Disney without any card or packaging, such as Artist Proof and Pre-Production pins.
