Super Rare Cast Costume Prototype Pin for the Eastern Star Railway. Pin Pics # 53911. Made in 1998 for the Opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom but never distributed or used. A prototype pin that was meant to be part of the Cast Member costume for train conductors on the Wildlife Express train at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Apparently, the pin was never mass produced and only a few samples were made. Pin shows an Indian elephant standing on railroad tracks with steam coming out of its trunk. There is a gold, 8-point star in the sky behind the elephant. The text on the outside band of the circle of the pin reads: “Eastern Star Railway”. The edges of the pin are cut like a gear.
