The Grand Opening was in 2001. The lanyard says Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and has the laminated card that carries the original hotel Logo. The pins are in excellent condition, the lanyard is clean and has been rolled and stored inside a plastic bag. This is a great addition to your collection. Awesome piece of Walt Disney World history. This is metal and was handed out along with four others in a lanyard to the very first guests staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge when it first opened in 2001. This set of pins was only given to the first 1000 guests that checked into the hotel. Even though there is no limited edition saying on the back, these are extremely limited.
