Walt Disney World Mgm Studios Cast Member Shirt Uniform Polo XL Rare 1989

This is a really great and rare piece. This is a super rare Disney MGM Studios cast member Polo shirt. I believe that this is from the opening year of the park. What is great about this shirt is that it’s not attraction specific so it could be worn anywhere as an everyday shirt if you like. This was worn by cast members in the opening year who were doing a little bit of everything and could move from attraction to attraction and still wear the same shirt. This particular shirt is super rare and I’ve only seen a few for sale. The shirt is 35 years old. The shirt is basically unworn you can tell by the tag, you could always tell the age of a shirt by how the tag looks and the tag looks brand new. However there is some discoloration on the right shoulder and sleeve. It’s not from dirt or use it’s from improper storage and age. I tried to show a picture of it. It’s not bad but it is discolored. I washed the shirt to see if the discoloration would come out and it did not. It’s still there but it isn’t bad but it is there. The park opened in 1989. This was a shirt that was worn mostly that opening Year from what I was told. The size is extra large and is actually in great condition overall. When I first got it it did not appear to ever have been worn or washed. But I did wash it. I also believe it’s unworn because not only is the tag in perfect condition, but most MGM Studios cast member uniform pieces are marked with a date and this one is not. Once again I must say again that there is a discoloration on the shoulder and right sleeve, however it is not dirt it is just from improper storage and age. It’s at least 35 years old.
