This Disney Harmony Kingdom box features a spooky design with the iconic Mummy coming out of a grave from the Haunted Mansion ride. The piece features Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy all reacting to the Mummy who is offering them a cup of tea. The detail on the mummy and the Disney characters is amazing. When you open the box, you see the tea pot and an extra cup. The Mummy, often given the name of Prince Amenmose is one of many characters situated in the Graveyard scene. This item is perfect for those who love all things Disney and is a great way to remember the beloved theme park ride. The figure is approximately 5.5″ x 5″ x 4 and was expertly sculpted by Robert King. It comes with its original box and a Harmony Kingdom booklet. The piece is part of a limited edition of only 500 made. This wonderfully chilling box would make a perfect Halloween decoration. The piece with the mummy on it come out so you can store your small or scary treasures inside. Like many of the Disney collectibles I acquired over the years, I had no room to display them all. That wasn’t the intent, just how it happened. The box had some wear and there is one side that had come unglued, which is not unusual for these older boxes. But that can easily be fixed with some glue. Here’s a little about the famous Haunted Mansion ride I found on Wikipedia. The Haunted Mansion is a dark ride attraction located at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland. The haunted house attraction features a ride-through tour in Omnimover vehicles called “Doom Buggies”, and a walk-through show is displayed to riders waiting in the queue line. Each location differs slightly in design, utilizing a range of technology from centuries-old theatrical effects to modern special effects, including spectral Audio-Animatronics. The Haunted Mansion inspired two similarly themed but distinct attractions, Phantom Manor and Mystic Manor, which exist at Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland, respectively. Considered one of the most popular Disney Parks attractions, the Haunted Mansion launched a small franchise including two feature film adaptations, comic strips, television specials and merchandise.
