Six Flags Power Plant was a Victorian-themed indoor park, styled after Disneyland’s Main Street, USA, as well as the turn of the century World’s Fair. It was Steampunk thirty years too soon.. Landmark was the equivalent of Disneyland’s Imagineering, and designed attractions for Universal, Six Flags, and many entertainment-themed resorts around the world. Over the years, Landmark contracted some of the biggest names in the biz: Herb Ryman, Marc Davis, Don Dixon, Ed Sotto, Eric Heschong, Greg Pro… In addition to theme park and attraction design, Landmark also produced the Masters of the Universe live-action movie, and Captain Power for TV. This stunning piece is unsigned by the artist, but is likely by Jim Michaelson or. The art is on thick illustration board. The piece is 15″x 20″, and the image area measures 10 1/2″ x 15″ and the art is in excellent condition, having been stored in their archive for the past 20 years.
