Mgm Studios Backlot Tour Prop Spur Epcot World Of Motion Disney
I believe this will be the absolute last piece from the MGM Backlot tour. This is an interesting piece. It’s a piece from the old MGM Studios Backlot tour, closed in 2014. If you remember that attraction and you can do a search, there were props from other Disney Parks as well as movies on the attraction. This is a metal spur. What’s interesting is it says world of motion epcot. Now I do not know 100% if this was just an homage to World of motion or if this was actually from World of motion. The only thing I know is that it’s from the studio tour. Either way it’s a really cool piece and of course world of motion was all about transportation and this is transportation related so it would make sense if it was from there. There’s a blacksmith scene as well as some other scenes where there were horses and people who might have had Spurs but again I just don’t know. Though the tag appears old, I doubt this was an actual old prop tag. I think it’s was made and done for the attraction. I do not believe that the Backlot attraction had an actual prop storage facility. It was really just for show. However, even though it was just for show and it wasn’t an actual prop storage facility these things were actually props from movies and the attractions. They had a section of Epcot props and props from other parts of Walt Disney World. The prop made of metal.
