Vintage July 1956 Disneyland News Vol 2 #1 Theme Park Newspaper Disney Begins 2nd Year. 1 of The Disneyland News. These incredible early newspapers not only served to offer park guests the latest information on the park and its features, but also heavily supported the theme of Main Street being a functioning small town. Dated July 1956, the headline for this issue is “Disneyland Begins 2nd Year, ” with a photo of Walt Disney Fishing on Tom Sawyer Island. The 12-page newspaper is complete and measures 15.75″x11.25″ and the condition is fair with some yellowing and small tears around edges from age and folding creases from use. Condition is as shown in photo’s. I think some of the folds with flatten out but will leave that up to the new owner. A Very hard to find item as most were thrown away or lost!
