This is the original Disney California Adventure “California Screamin'” Paradise Pier working roller coaster toy set. Released exclusively at the park for its grand opening in 2001, this massive set mimics the iconic wooden-styled steel launch coaster before its permanent 2018 Incredicoaster re-theme. Why This Set is a Collector’s Holy Grail. The “Purple Car” Variant: Features the highly sought-after purple coaster car variant, clearly badged on the front of the box. Extinct Attraction Nostalgia: Because Paradise Pier and California Screamin’ no longer exist in the park, original branded merchandise from this era is heavily sought after by Disneyana collectors. Theme Park: Disney’s California Adventure (Paradise Pier Era). Characters Featured: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy.
